、nger to the union Ⅰ.單項填空 1.B play a part意為“扮演角色”;at the age of意為“在…… 2.A oh,come on意為“得了吧,算啦”,表示知道某人所說的話不正確;congratulations意為“祝賀”;well done意為“干得好”;good luck意為“祝你好運”。

、狀語。句意為:創(chuàng)立于1998年,該公司以一流的產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量和完善的售后服務(wù)而著稱。 4.C while引導(dǎo)的從句表示“在……過程中”,強調(diào)某一段時間內(nèi)主句和從句的動作在同一時期發(fā)生。句意為:老師講解課文時,同學(xué)們注意地聽并且做筆記。 5.A 本題為This is+序數(shù)詞+time (that)...句型,從句用現(xiàn)在完成時。句意為:——這是你第一次來昆明嗎?——是的,我多么興奮??! 6.A now that引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句,意為“既然”。句意為:既然你已經(jīng)長大了,就必須停止這樣幼稚的行為,否則你會出丑的。 7.B in total意為“總共;合計”。at least至少;at most至多;

10.A concentrate on sth. fix sth.on sb./sth. achie

when表示“當(dāng)…… while表示“在……

1.B 從下文可知她們不是在做功課或作業(yè),因此assessment與task用在此處不妥,根據(jù)首句可知他們在縫紉機上縫制東西,因此選擇project,在本文中它的含義是“a set of aims,ideas or activities that sb.is interested in or wants to bring to people’s attention”即指“讓某人感興趣的事”。 2.C 根據(jù)文章的首句中的“my two ch

3.D be short with...的含義是“to speak to someone using very few words,in a way that seems rude or unfriendly”表示講一些很簡短并且聽起來不是很有禮貌的話,符合句意:母親勞累了一整天,連問候孩子的話都不想說很多。

explode的意思是“to suddenly express strong feelings such as anger”(即大發(fā)雷霆),符合題意。

根據(jù)倒數(shù)第二段中的“A spokesman for Education Secretary David Blunkett,who is blind,said his guide dog was always popular with pupils when he visited schools”可知,David是個盲人,有一個導(dǎo)盲犬幫助他。
