Explanation and inductive methods to enable the Ss to master the grammar item better. 3. Pair work or group work to make every student work in class. Teaching Aids: 1. the blackboard 2. a projector and some slides Teaching Procedures: FStep Ⅰ.Greetings and Revision Greet the whole class as usual. T: First, I’ll check your homework. Retell the text we learned in the last period, using your own words. Now, I’ll give you two minutes to prepare for it. Later, I’ll ask some students to retell it. T: (Two minutes later.)Are you ready? Ss: Yes. T: OK. Who’d like to have a try? Wang Xin, please. S1:… T: Very good. Thank you for your performance. T: What tense is used in the two sentences? Ss: The Present Perfect Tense. T: And the Voice? Ss: Passive Voice. T: So we have the Present Perfect Passive Voice. Now let’s pay attention to its structure: has /have been + p. p.(Bb) Can you give us an example using the Present Perfect Passive Voice? S9:Yes.The light has been turned off. (Teacher writes the form and example on the Bb.) T: Very good. As we know, we must find the verb and the object when we change the active voice into the passive voice, then we need to change the form of the verb into “has/have been + past participle.” Besides, we should pay attention to the agreement. Is that clear? Ss: Yes. T: OK. I’ll ask one student to rewrite the sentence on the screen. Any volunteers? S10: Catherine’s Palace has been rebuilt by modern Russian artists. T: Do you agree with him? Ss: Yes. T: Thank you. Sit down, please. Now, turn to Page 47, and look at Part 1.Rewrite the following sentences according to the example on the screen. I’ll give you a few minutes to do it. When you finish, you can check your answers with your partner. At last, I’ll ask some students to say their answers. T: (A few minutes later.)Are you ready?
