Module 8 Choosing presents Unit 1 I always like birthday parties. 教學(xué)目標(biāo) 【知識(shí)與技能】 1. 掌握下列單詞和短語(yǔ)：card, party, present, would, always, never, cut, give, sing, happy, secret 2. 掌握句型：1) Daming always gets birthday presents! 2) She often goes to the cinema. 3) What do you usually do at a Chinese birthday party? 4) We sometimes give birthday cards. 5) My mother never makes a birthday cake. 6)—Would you like to come to my birthday party? —Yes, I’d like to. Show some pictures of birthday and say what they are. Key words: birthday , birthday card , birthday party , birthday cake , birthday presents , have a party , make a cake , eat noodles, eat birthday cake, sing Happy Birthday song… 2. Match the words with the pictures. 3. Read the words after the teacher. 4. Introduce the new words. 5. Enjoy a song: Happy birthday. Step 2 Listening practice. 1. Make sure the students understand the symbols they must use to complete the chart 2. Play the recording through once while they just listen. 3. Ask the students to listen to the recording. 4. Play the recording again, then they can check their answer with a partner. 5. Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer. Step 3 Work in pairs. Say what you always / usually / often / never do on your birthday. 1. Read through the verbs and have the students repeat them. Make sure they understand them. 2. Ask the students to think about what they do, and make a list using the adverbs of frequency individually. 3. Pair them to talk about what they do. 4. Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer. Step 4 Listen and read. 1. Ask the students to read the conversation silently. 2. Play the recording and ask the students to listen and read the conversation. 3. Read the conversation. 4. Act it out. Step 5 Check (√) the true sentences. 1. Ask the students to read through the sentences and have the students follow and /or repeat. 2. Play the recording again, then they can check their answer with a partner. 3. Step 10 Grammar 1. 動(dòng)詞第三人稱單數(shù)詞尾變化有三種形式。 (1)一般動(dòng)詞在詞尾加-s，-s在清輔音后讀／s／，在濁輔音或元音后讀／z／，ds讀／dz／，ts讀／ts／。如：help→helps，know→knows，get→gets，read→reads (2)以字母s，x，ch，sh或有些以o結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞加-es，-es讀／iz／。如：guess→guesses，fix→fixes，teach→teaches，wash→washes go→goes，do→does (3)以輔音字母+y結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞，先變y為i，再加-es，-ies讀／iz／。如：carry→carries，fly→flies 注：在play→plays，say→says中，字母y前為元音字母，第三人稱單數(shù)形式直接在動(dòng)詞后面加-s。 (4)特殊詞例外。如：be→is，have→has Homework 寫出下列動(dòng)詞的第三人稱單數(shù)形式 1. eat_________ 2. get _________ 3.like _________ 4. make_________ 5. drink _________ 6.play_________ 7.love _________ 8.read _________ 9. listen _________ 10. do_________ 11.go _________ 12.watch ________ 13.wash________ 14.finish ________ 15. have_________ 教學(xué)反思
