I. Teaching Aims:
1. Go over the grammar--- the Direct Speech and the Indirect Speech, pointing out and correcting the mistakes that the students often make in changing the Direct Speech into the Indirect Speech.
2. Summarize the changes of the pronouns, tenses, adverbials in
2、 turning the Direct Speech into the Indirect Speech.
II. Teaching Important Points:
1. By doing a lot of practice, let the students know how to use an infinitive to express one’s order or request in the Indirect Speech.
2. By doing plenty of exercises , let the students know how to make a stateme
3、nt correctly in the Indirect Speech.
III. Teaching Difficult Points:
1. Let the students know how to tell the difference between an order and a request.
2. Let the students know how to change the pronouns when turning the Direct Speech into the INDIRECT speech.
