4、el car，she explained.Then I began to explore.She said we had to stay in our compartment until the conductor came for our tickets.Inside the room were two beds，one of which was folded into the wall above the sofa，and a bathroom，which seemed pretty small.There was even a shower.I told Mom I wanted to
5、take a shower.She laughed and said that was the first time she had heard me say so!A few minutes later the conductor came.He took our tickets and told us the lounge (休息室休息室) car right next door was open.They would serve lunch in the diner.We walked to the lounge car as the train started to move.The
6、dining car was a new experience.There was a flower on the table.The car rocked，but no milk spilt out of my glass.That evening after dinner，the lady made up our beds for the night.When I climbed in，it was dark.I turned on a night light，so I could read.But it only took a few minutes for me to go to sleep.The next morning，we ate breakfast in the dining car.Before I knew it，Dad said we would pull into Portland.I couldnt believe itour trip was over.
